Well, what is a girl to do when it is vacation and new stamps arrive in the mail? How about when you spend a day sick on the couch watching YouTube tutorials? Here is what you do... you make 2 lists. One list is things to make and the other is things to buy. So, I tried to shop. That didn't go well considering I am still not feeling well and I then worked on a card. I made tons of mistakes but I had fun trying! In fact one of the flowers on this is covering an eyelet nightmare. When creating this card I followed a sketch found at My Creative Time for their Throwback Thursday challenge. They want us to create without Cricut and Gypsy this week. All I wanted was to cut some butterflies... I hate rules :) In reality I love rules I am a strange one but I hated them when doing this.
Here is what I did:
I started with white paper and blended dye inks with my new "Ink Blending Tool" I bought this morning ;).
Then I used VersaMark to stamp the sentiment from K Andrew stamps "Amazing You" set on and sprinkled with silver embossing powder then I heated it up!
The flowers are from Prima flowers which I am beginning to adore.
The punch is EK success and today I finally figured out how to line it up. I am a total crafting misfit... you should see me trying to do stuff!
Thanks for looking! On Tuesday's I reveal a sneak peak at my 300 follower give away. HOWEVER, in celebration of nothing in particular there will be a special installment tomorrow so make sure to come back! I never want followers that follow me for blog candy and give-aways. BUT if you like what you see I would love the compliment of you following me ;)

This is very lovely. I have been known to "cover up" mistakes also. I think everyone does that
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the card though. I love how you used the stamp
